Pool Equipment Enclosure

What is a pool equipment cover?

A pool cover or pool filter box is a type of enclosure used to house your pool equipment, protecting it from harsh weather conditions and potential damage. Our enclosures are constructed from galvanised steel panels which completely cover your pool pumps, filters, and heaters.

At Pool Filter Box, we understand that everyone’s pool space is different, and designed according to convenience, budget, and personal preference. That’s why our acoustic boxes are available in a selection of standard heights, widths, and colours, with custom designs available on request.

What equipment should be protected?

A pool cover should be used to shield and safeguard any equipment that is essential to the optimal functioning and circulation of your pool.

  • Pool pump: Circulates the water to prevent the accumulation of dirt, algae, and bacteria. Helps keep the pool hygienic and safe to swim in.
  • Pool filter: Removes impurities and debris from the pool, ensuring optimal hygiene, safety, and water clarity.
  • Pool heater: Heats the water to the desired temperature for a comfortable and refreshing swimming experience.

Your pool equipment is an investment in the future enjoyment of your pool, ensuring the water remains clean and clear. So why wouldn’t you want to protect your equipment with a high-quality acoustic box?

Why you need a pool equipment enclosure

The enclosed design of the pump box is perfect for minimising the exposure of your equipment to harsh Australian weather conditions, whether a summer storm, constant sunshine, or unrelenting rainfall.

The enclosures from Pool Filter Box are designed to significantly reduce the volume emitted by active equipment. Certified by an acoustic engineer, the noise level of your equipment is reduced by up to 80% due to the physical structure of the galvanised steel box and the acoustic foam affixed to the interior panels.

A pool pump enclosure is also the perfect option for keeping your pool space tidy and looking its best, as all filter equipment, wiring, and pipes can be neatly organised within the structure. And as we offer a range of different sizes, including custom fabrications, you can select a pool box that is larger than currently required, providing space for future pool equipment.

Pool filter box designs

Our premium pool filter boxes are available in a range of standard sizes, styles, and colours. There are two available box types: Standard and Backless.

Standard enclosures feature front, rear, and side panels, allowing them to be installed anywhere in your pool area. Backless designs, on the other hand, are ideal for protecting equipment that is installed within 50mm of a wall or fence. The rear panel is replaced with two wall strips and a horizontal bridge, allowing the enclosure to be completely sealed.

We even offer additional accessories to further tailor the pool equipment cover to your needs. Our optional extras include:

  • Side Access: An extra door can be added on the side of 900mm or 1100mm enclosures to provide dual access.
  • H3 Timber Footings: The H3 timber footings are pre-treated, pre-drilled, and already cut to suit the size of your chosen enclosure. The footings protect your enclosure from corrosion by minimising direct contact with the ground.
  • Timber Panel: Installed on the interior of the enclosure walls, the extra timber panels provide space to mount electrical devices. This helps keep your filter area clean, tidy, and organised.
